Can I use an online resource to check if someone has a criminal record?
You can access the records on the websites of your local or state government. You will usually have to pay some sort of fee to get a search and access a criminal history report for someone. You need to be aware too that you will only get from the local and state government websites, information relating to that particular state. You can though choose another paid route to find criminal records on the internet. You can search the public record database. There are millions of records in this database and it covers information across all states. You won’t find a simpler or more comprehensive way to search for a person’s criminal record.
