How to run a background check on someone?
To do a FCRA background check you need written consent from the person you are running the check on to get information about their criminal and financial history. As well as their written permission you will also need some of their personal information like: social security number, name, address etc. You will then have to choose the depth of search you want to run. This will depend on how much information you need and how far into the person’s past you wish to go. An FBI record check will give you a lot of accurate information, but a private company will be able to give you a lot more. What you choose is up to you.
